C.Marie Taylor (She/her), LT’23, Flagship Program Consultant

C. Marie Taylor, LT’23, is the Principal Consultant at Equity Through Action, a full-service consulting company that helps corporations and nonprofit organizations examine their work through a racial equity lens and provides training and technical assistance. LT is thrilled to partner with C. Marie as our Flagship Program Consultant. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing and supporting the Flagship Program.

A recent LT graduate, C. Marie is a leadership, diversity, and race equity consultant with over 25 years of expertise in guiding organizations to establish safe, equitable, inclusive, and people-centered work environments. Accordingly, creating work spaces that see the full value of Black, Indigenous, Hispanic/Latinx, Asian and other people of color is her primary goal for the companies and organizations that secure her consultation services. C. Marie understands that innovation ignites, authentic personal relationships form, and productivity and morale rise when companies and organizations engage in exploring matters of diversity, inclusivity, and race equity issues.

In her past role as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Leadership Montgomery, C. Marie was the organization’s major thought leader - creating racial equity training and technical assistance programing. She also served as the Executive Director of Greater Washington Community Foundation of Montgomery County where she initiated, led, and fundraised for a study to research the opportunity gap of Black and African American Youth in Montgomery County, MD.

C. Marie holds a B.A. in human relations and an M.B.A. in non-profit management from Trinity Washington University. She is a fan of single glasses of high-quality vodka, an indoor cycling fanatic, vacationing, making people laugh, and baking as she won her partner over with her noteworthy strawberry-rhubarb pie.
