Learn how to use curiosity to approach difficult conversations. Join Dr. Julie Pham, the author of the Amazon Bestseller 7 Forms of Respect: A Guide to Transforming Your Communication and Relationships at Work, for this fast-paced, practical, and interactive workshop. Dr. Julie Pham will introduce you to the “Rubber Band Rule” of respect. You’ll learn the difference between “disrespect” and “lack of respect.” You’ll never think of respect the same way again.
This is a rare opportunity to experience a 7 Forms of Respect workshop, which are usually reserved for CuriosityBased's organizational clients.
The election happened, now what? Join Civic Commons, Leadership Tomorrow, Seattle City Club, Civic Genius and Town Hall Seattle for an evening to gather in community and identify steps we can all take to build belonging and civic muscle.

Leadership Tomorrow's BIPOC Leader Happy Hour Mixer: Celebrating Leadership, Art, and Community
Join us for Leadership Tomorrow's BIPOC Leader Happy Hour Mixer, an evening dedicated to networking and community building over delicious sips and bites. This event is specially designed for leaders who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color, offering a space to network, share stories, and build community over incredible food, drink, and art.
Join Leadership Tomorrow and ACT Theatre for an unforgettable afternoon with the Tony-nominated comedy, POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive by Selina Fillinger, directed by Jillian Armenante. After the 2 p.m. matinee, engage in a dynamic post-play event featuring notable local women in politics, including Shana Bestock, LT’21, Monisha Harrell, LT’11, Stephanie Pure, LT’11, Edna Shim, LT’94, Janice Zahn, LT’17, and Sarah Clark, LT’24. Dive into the unique challenges faced by women in the political arena through a robust panel discussion, audience Q&A, and reception.
Join us for a 9/11 Day of Service volunteer event! In partnership with 9/11 Day and AmeriCorps, we’ll pack over 280,000 meals for Food Lifeline in Seattle. This is one of 21 nationwide service events honoring 9/11.
We need volunteers to help with meal packing, box moving, check-in, and directional support. You can choose a half-day or full-day shift. This event is open to all LT alumni and friends of LT. It’s a great way to serve and make a difference. No experience needed—just enthusiasm!
Gather with fellow LT alumni for a guided tour of the AIDS Memorial Pathway, where public art creates a place for remembrance and reflection. Led by Lonnie Lusardo, LT'90, participants will take an emotional and historical journey of the AIDS epidemic in our region from the early 1980s to present. Explore art installations created by artists from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives. We hope you will join us for a memorable evening of connection and reflection!
Join us Tuesday, June 18 to celebrate 40 years of leadership excellence! For the past four decades, LT has been at the forefront of cultivating the inclusive, courageous, and curious leaders the Puget Sound region needs. As we mark this significant milestone, we invite you to join us in honoring our past, celebrating our present, and envisioning our future.
In this 90-minute virtual workshop, BIPOC leaders and allies will explore and build communication strategies for effectively responding to examples of racial bias they encounter in the workplace. Following this workshop, we hope participants will activate their peer groups to ease "the one and only” isolation that BIPOC leaders often face at work, replenish their emotional reserves, and brainstorm new strategies for succeeding through the persistent realities of workplace racial bias.
Join us at one of our upcoming dinner parties, hosted by LT board members! Each gathering will be limited to 10-12 alumni, ensuring meaningful connections and lively conversations. Your $40 registration fee serves as a donation to LT in honor of our 40th anniversary.

Please join us for a discussion regarding African American reparations and cross-racial solidarity. We will have a panel of speakers from various allyships (Larry Gossett, Estela Ortega, Dr. Kyle Kinoshita, and more), followed by small group discussions. You will gain an understanding of why reparations are important, how we can collectively move reparations forward, how to build solidarity to meet each other’s needs, and have a larger impact to benefit all communities. We are more powerful together!

The event will feature panelists from the Civil Reparations Project and the Social Justice Fund NW. We will also have small group facilitated discussions. Ted Schneider, LT’12, is Global Managing Director at Camber Collective. They will discuss their work on the Scorecard for Shared Prosperity, the Black Home Initiative, and the Washington Future Fund. We will discuss what innovative solutions look like and actions leaders can take to make real change. There will be time for Q&A.

He’ll also share his thoughts about the Mariners next season and what it was like to be part of the team that broke the 20-year playoff drought! He will be interviewed by Sandra Madrid, LT’89.
Please join us to read and discuss the inspiring new leadership book, “The Four Pivots” by Shawn A. Ginwright, PhD. As part of our conversation, Jessica Werner, LT'05, from LT's Curriculum Committee, will discuss how the LT'23 cohort is using this book as part of their curriculum. In this book, “Shawn Ginwright, PhD, breaks down the common myths of social movements–a set of deeply ingrained beliefs that actually hold us back from healing and achieving sustainable systemic change. He shows us why these frames don’t work, proposing instead four revolutionary pivots for better activism and collective leadership.”
