Community Projects

Submit a proposal to work with a team from the LT Class of 2023

Nonprofit, public sector, and community organization leaders: Do you have a project or idea to advance racial equity or social justice in our region that could benefit from working with a cross-sector team of 7-8 leaders who are a part of this year’s Leadership Tomorrow class?

LT Teams help by providing strategic advising on organizational issues or project design and implementation for your area of need. See below for more information about how to submit a proposal.

Things to Consider When Submitting a Proposal:

  • The team will work on this project from December 2022 – the end of May 2023.

  • The scope of the project will need to be agreed to by both the nonprofit and the team.  The project should be meaningful and achievable.

  • Projects may not be partisan or religious in nature nor have fundraising as a primary focus.

  • This is an opportunity for your organization to receive the team’s insight and work and to be introduced to the wider LT community of 2,500 leaders and influencers in Puget Sound.

Proposal Process and Timeline:

  • September 23, 2022: Project proposals are due.

  • October 1, 2022: LT contacts organizations about whether they will move forward in the process.

  • Mid-October 2022 (date TBD): Proposing organizations attend an optional info session to learn more about working with LT teams.

  • November 17, 2022: Proposing organizations pitch their projects to LT teams.

  • December 2, 2022: LT contacts organizations about whether an LT team has decided to work on the project submitted.
