Class projects are one of the most memorable aspects of the LT experience. That’s why we are thrilled to now offer LT "Post-Graduate" Community Projects. This is an opportunity for alumni to take action together to advance racial equity, social justice, or civic participation in our region. Similar to class projects, teams will meet from January–May 2022 and you will have a deliverable due June 5th, 2022.
How it Works: LT solicited proposals from organizations in the region who have an idea or project to advance racial equity or social justice in our region. There are five projects to choose from and most have an LT alum as the primary contact.
Please review the projects HERE and select your first and second choice of proposals to work on when you register. All participants will be able to work on their first choice, but if the group that forms around a project feels too small or too large you will be able to change. Monthly meetings with LT start on January 19th, 2022. These meetings allow you to talk with other teams, and find support for any questions or issues you may have, and have an established meeting time for your team. We anticipate that you will also need to plan additional team meetings. You will have two deliverables—one to the organization and a summary of your work to LT by June 5th. Your community project summaries will be shared with the LT community.
Dates & Times: Please register only if you are able to attend the first meeting and at least 3 out of the 4 additional meeting times. Monthly meetings will be held on:
