Join us for our biggest LT event of the year: LT’21 Graduation and Alumni Reunion! What a challenging, inspiring, and unprecedented year it has been, a year that underscored the importance of civic leadership and community. On June 23, we will celebrate this inspiring group of civic leaders and welcome LT’21 into the alumni family. As a community of leaders, let’s join together to reflect, reminisce, reconnect, and recharge. Following the graduation program, we encourage you to stay for the Alumni Reunion.

Here’s what you can look forward to:
Graduation Program: 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Inspiring Keynote Speaker. Sean Goode, Executive Director of Choose 180, is an incredible speaker with an important message about seeing possibilities over problems. Choose 180 envisions a future where youthful behavior is decriminalized and young people are offered restorative practices in lieu of traditional prosecution.
Multiple Class Speakers. You’ll hear from several folks from LT’21 about their LT experiences, what it was like to participate in LT virtually, and what they gained from the program.
Music, celebratory activities, and surprises
Alumni Reunion: 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Opportunity to connect with alumni from your class and talk with alumni who share your interests. For those who live outside the region, this is a chance to reconnect from anywhere in the world.
Self-select which breakout room(s) you’d like to attend. You will have opportunities to select breakout rooms based on class year and interest area.
You will have an opportunity to share your civic work and/or perform a poem, music, or other art.

Sean Goode is cause-driven leader who works through the non-profit CHOOSE 180 to decriminalize youthful behavior by elevating the transformative power of grace and through the creation of alternatives to the criminal legal system. Prior to serving the community in this capacity he served as a chaplain at Juvenile Detention, championed gang intervention efforts, created employment opportunities for youth in at-risk communities and worked in educational advocacy to implement programing that supported young people’s readiness for Kindergarten, High School and College.
Sean Goode is considered a national expert on justice reform and is frequently sharing the work of CHOOSE 180 and the transformative power of restorative practices throughout the country. He has been appointed by the governor to the Washington State Partnership Council on Juvenile Justice where he serves as the vice-chair addressing statewide issues of the criminalization of adolescent behavior.
