The Rubber Band Rule of Respect (Introduction to the 7 Forms of Respect)

  • Leadership Tomorrow 1301 5th Ave, Suite 1500 Seattle, WA 98101 United States (map)

Have you ever felt like you’re not getting the respect you want? Telling someone that we feel disrespected is hard. You might not feel comfortable “demanding” respect. Learn how to use curiosity to approach difficult conversations. Join Dr. Julie Pham, the author of the Amazon Bestseller 7 Forms of Respect: A Guide to Transforming Your Communication and Relationships at Work, for this fast-paced, practical,  and interactive workshop. You’ve heard of the “Golden Rule.” Dr. Julie Pham will introduce you to the “Rubber Band Rule” of respect. You’ll learn the difference between “disrespect” and “lack of respect.” You’ll never think of respect the same way again.

This interactive 70-min workshop includes two breakout sessions for participants to practice the content in pairs. Dr. Pham will stay for an additional 20 minutes for an author Q & A and to give participants a third breakout round.

This is a rare opportunity to experience a 7 Forms of Respect workshop, which are usually reserved for CuriosityBased's organizational clients. All proceeds benefit Leadership Tomorrow.
