LT's Board of Directors is comprised of 29 leaders from the nonprofit, public, and private sectors. Tali Hairston, LT’07, Owner, Equitable Development LLC

Tali has 17 years' experience in higher education in diversity, equity, and inclusion administration as the Special Assistant to the President and Director of Seattle Pacific University’s community and international learning program. Hairston participates in education research on physics and equity learning as a National Science Foundation awardee; as well as specializes in community education, engagement and outreach, and public policy research.

Jocelyn Herrera-Ternes, Vice President and Chief People Officer, Kaiser Permanente

Jocelyn leads the People strategy for Kaiser Permanente Washington State and is known for her collaborative, results-oriented leadership approach, and her deep commitment to Kaiser Permanente members. She is a well-rounded, highly experienced leader, and is passionate about supporting and developing people throughout the organization.

Erin Murphy, LT’17, Communications Specialist, Seattle-King County Public Health

In her King County role, Erin has primarily supported Best Starts for Kids, the Office of Equity and Social Justice, Zero Youth Detention, and most recently, the COVID-19 emergency response team. Her experience in the nonprofit, public and private sectors is rooted in strategic and equitable communications, brand management, community engagement, policy advocacy, strategic planning, and nonprofit board development.

Bish Paul, LT’20, Policy Manager in Program Team, Washington STEM

Bish is a scientist, advocate, and community leader whose work straddles legislative experience, scientific research, education & outreach, diversity & inclusion, and LGBTQ advocacy. As the Policy Director for Washington STEM, Bish is helping facilitate policy change that results in closing gaps in access to, and attainment of, high-value credentials & family-sustaining careers in every region of Washington.

Ana Pinto da Silva, LT’09, CEO, Minka

As a designer, technologist and community leader, Ana is dedicated to creating products that matter, defining new landscapes of opportunity for people world-wide. She has led design envisioning initiatives across a wide array of projects including healthcare, education, civics and productivity for Amazon, Microsoft, NBBJ and others.

Natalie Vega O’Neil, LT’08, President and CEO, Junior Achievement of Washington

With 20 years’ experience in nonprofit leadership and a passion for breaking the cycle of poverty, Natalie is a relentless advocate for marginalized, underserved, and vulnerable communities. As a dynamic Latina leader steeped in early childhood development and educational programs, Natalie is well-positioned to grow and nurture partnerships with a shared vision.
