Challenge Day Reflections: Neighborhoods & Communities, LT'22
Historic structural racism has long been a factor in the ability for communities to thrive and its community members to have their basic needs met. How do we transcend the existing paradigm and progress to a place where community members have control of their future and the ability to build neighborhoods and communities where all needs are met?
These are the questions we explored during our Neighborhoods and Communities Challenge Day. Check out our recently release Challenge Day Reflections for highlights and resources from the day. New this year, we are incorporating reflections from LT’22 class members in each of our write-ups. In this write-up, Saunjah Brantley, Kate Elliott, Michael Furze, and Thomasina Schmidt share how the day impacted their leadership and what calls to action they were inspired by.
Many thanks to WSP for their sponsorship of this day and leadership in our community.
