Challenge Day Reflections: Environment, LT'22

How are global environmental issues manifested in our local communities and how have the impacts been influenced by structural racism? What historical and cultural context must we consider in developing solutions to support communities most impacted by environmental issues? How do leaders build coalitions for successful environmental advocacy and environmental justice work?

These are the questions we explored during our Environment Challenge Day. New this year, we are incorporating reflections from LT’22 class members in each of these write-ups. In this write-up, Michaela Doelman and Katherine Leggett share how the day impacted their leadership and what calls to action they were inspired by.
